Pros
-Admirable culture that strays from the normal corporate environment -Great people working there -Good core values, if they were followed by all
Cons
-Promotions are scarce, even if you work around the clock. You will be told a bunch of canned phrases like "you need a fulfilling side project" or given a bunch of awards but ultimately they will work you till exhaustion with no advancement -If you are not recruited from a high end college that one of the Directors went to, are not a part of their Redwoods program, or haven't worked at a prestigious consulting company, you will likely not advance no matter how hard you work -The benefits structure is title based. Directors and above get 3 months fully paid maternity leave while managers and below get 5 weeks at 60% pay -Very top heavy. Many directors that have no reports and little to do but have the title. Meanwhile if you talk about a next career step you will be asked if it is a title thing and made to jump through hoops for no career advancement
