Data Driven Marketers Response
3yThank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your experience. We strive to provide a different experience for our employees, meaning that we invest in company culture activities (remote and in-person), as well as ongoing marketing training. We understand that not everyone agrees with this practice, but we are proud to report that the company is financially strong. We’ve been able to provide employees with raises prior to their one-year anniversary and semi-annual performance reviews while continuing to invest in unique employee experiences. Additionally, our team has built incredible marketing skills that have supported our ongoing success rate of 93% for clients (we no longer offer white label services).
We appreciate you sharing your concerns about demotion/firing practices. We have implemented a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) across our organization in 2022, helping transitioned employees build their skills and stay employed. Employees who have chosen to stay with Data Driven Marketers through this transition are still working with our team and have reported satisfaction and growth within the PIP agreed upon.
Regarding four-day work weeks, we offer No-Expectation Fridays, but the leadership team is available on Slack seven days a week. We offer a flexible work schedule, meaning employees can choose when they work (morning or night, Sunday–Saturday), to complete their 35 hours throughout the week. As stated on our site, we offer 49 hours of paid time off, 168 hours of paid holiday time (including company-wide summer and winter breaks), and unlimited unpaid time off.
When new team members onboard, we present our organization chart and share our one-year, two-year, and five-year growth plans. This shifts as new employees onboard and ideas are accepted across the team.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out with specific information or suggestions on how we could have done better.
