Pros
Willingness to change and adapt, fun work environment, provides lots of employee perks like health & wellness support, paid gym membership, nice lounges with pool tables/video games, management that now listens and communicates better than ever before, exposure to very bright and talented technology leaders and colleagues. Improving collaboration across groups. I’ve read some posts on here that are super negative, but I’d say it probably came from some people who were already super negative. It’s a tough time, there are companies in large retail that have laid off 75% of their workforce with no severance. Everyone who was recently laid off at DSI received severance. And the quick action most certainly saved jobs. I know it’s hard to be let go, but spouting such negative viewpoints has the potential to burn a bridge and that’s just stupid. So stop with the negativity. I love working at DSI. It’s my family. I get up every morning loving what I do, and I laugh with my coworkers a LOT during the workday. And that applies to all levels of the organization.
Cons
As a smaller company it’s sometimes hard to stay current with technology; but DSI is successfully changing that. I see evidence of it everywhere, in every team.
