Pros

Dataminr has truly differentiated tech and is reorienting around a more efficient GTM path. The changes over the last six months have well positioned the company to grow and expand into both new territories and new client bases. I have never worked with a more driven and smart group of people. This company wants to make a difference and I believe will be successful over the next year.

Cons

The company has experienced a lot of of pivots whether it is redefining the product or strategy.

Pros

* Differentiated technology platform with real-time intelligence capabilities, particularly in the physical security and threat detection space

Cons

* Frequent leadership changes have made it difficult to maintain consistent strategic direction * Company initiatives often reset before prior efforts fully mature, creating execution gaps * Senior leadership structure can feel top-heavy, which at times slows decision-making and accountability * Market positioning in cybersecurity may not be as strong or clearly differentiated as competitors * Organizational changes have led to disruption and uncertainty for employees during transition periods * In some cases, expectations during the hiring process did not fully align with the day-to-day reality of the role * Strategic messaging is strong, but execution and follow-through can lag behind stated priorities
