Pros
Flexible (formerly unlimited) time off has been a great benefit, and the people are smart and pleasant to work with. Managers have been understanding for employee needs, and leadership seems to actually care about employees. I've learned a lot in my time at Datica.
Cons
Datica supports a large number of under-resourced projects and products compared to the small company size. Strategic direction changes frequently, and previous focus areas are dropped before they can get off the ground. Iteration isn't a bad thing for small companies, but sometimes it feels like flailing instead of moving towards a long-term vision. No career path to speak of, but it can be a comfortable place to stay for a little while.
