Pros
Free education is the only benefit worth mentioning.
Cons
They get rid of older, experienced employees and hire younger inexperienced people. Most stressful job ever. They expect financial aid consultants to act as sales reps but don't pay them that salary. I question their integrity. They employ a "used car" selling tactic to unsuspecting students. Leadership needs a major overhaul. They say they are interested in education but many of their supervisors don't have degrees and are not actively pursuing them. No promotional opportunities exist there unless you are in the "good ole boys club." I left on my own accord because I got tired of the horrible treatment of students and how we were instructed to "sell" DeVry no matter how much debt the student was in. They changed the hours of work to made it impossible for a single parent to continue working there. They have no consideration for balancing work and family. Not a family oriented company at all. No promotional opportunities exist there unless you are the friend of management.
