Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad you appreciate the store itself, but we’re truly concerned to hear about your experience as an employee. We take concerns about leadership, training, workload, and workplace culture very seriously. Our goal is to create an environment where team members feel supported, respected, and valued. We also prioritize employee health and would never want anyone to feel pressured to work while sick. We recognize that we can always improve, and feedback like this helps us reflect and grow. We would welcome the opportunity to speak with you directly to better understand your experience and identify areas where we can do better.

Pros

The employees are great to work with, and the owners create a close-knit, family-style environment.

Cons

I genuinely enjoyed working at DeWayne’s during my first few years with the company. I consistently received positive feedback for my work, collaborated effectively with my team, and contributed strong industry knowledge that helped move projects forward. I was always open to feedback and made a consistent effort to improve and grow in my role. After a management change, the work environment shifted significantly. Feedback became largely negative, and despite requesting clear guidance or examples on how to improve, follow-through was lacking. Team members raised concerns about management a couple of occasions, but no changes were made. Ultimately, I decided to leave the company in order to prioritize my well-being.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and for your kind words about our team and culture. We truly value the close-knit environment we’ve worked to build. We also recognize that leadership transitions can bring changes and challenges. Our intention is always to provide clear communication, consistent feedback, and strong support to every team member. We’re sorry to hear that you did not feel that clarity and follow-through during that time. We take feedback seriously and continuously evaluate our leadership practices to ensure we’re creating an environment where employees can grow and feel supported. We appreciate the contributions you made during your time with us and wish you the very best moving forward.
