Pros
Phenomenal earning potential Several staff members are the best in their field Learning how to recruit is a valuable skill that pays dividends in the future The offices are beautiful They work with some of the best clients in town and have a great reputation The working hours are generally really good Great opportunity to network with others in San Antonio, I still have connections that I know from working there 4 years after my tenure Learning recruiting skills makes you marketable in so many other things even if you don't want to be a recruiter forever
Cons
It can be stressful, but this is a normal part of working in a sales environment. If you aren't prepared to to work in that type of environment it may not be for you. Recruiting is hard work, it's highly dependent on your clients and candidates and their preferences and there are many things you can't control Turnover can be high (can't speak to what it's like now) however it is normal in the recruiting industry and most sales professions as far as I can tell.
