      Supportive and Transparent - Customer Success Manager DealMachine Employee Review

      Pros

      DealMachine is one of the most transparent organizations I've ever worked for. As the organization is still small, we still have the ability to have a complete view into the company's finances which we do typically once a month. It's something that helps provide some peace of mind while working at a start-up that's undergone a massive transition and growth. We're also open about providing feedback to one another, including the CEO. I love the amount of freedom that I've been given not only in shaping my own role and processes. I also have the freedom to work from home and have never felt micromanaged in any capacity. I am trusted to get my work done.The goals that have been set feel achievable and there are fair benchmarks along the way as well as generous incentives. Since we are a mostly remote workplace, we do get together once a month or so for a team outing. We also do virtual get-togethers with our CSR team, most of whom are overseas. I love that we keep them included on the fun!

      Cons

      Most of these aren't cons and are more things to be mindful of: - Unlimited PTO makes you less likely to use it - We make a lot of changes and we make them quick, it can be tough to keep up at times - There's not much of a physical office (This is not a con for me but may be to some) -

      Pros

      Great product - always innovating and adding value for our customers Great people - every person in the company is good at their job and easy to work with Competitive salary and benefits, unlimited PTO, fun team events Work is challenging and rewarding WFH and flexibility in scheduling Company is doing well and is very open about financials

      Cons

      Sometimes I miss the office setting for team building but there are co-working spaces that we can use in both Indianapolis and St. Louis where the majority of team members live

      Pros

      I feel like my work matters. I wanted to play a positive impact on the team when I joined and wanted to feel like my work mattered. After a year (plus), I can say I feel that is the case. We have a mighty team who are all on-board on being a part of the continued growth. We aren't scared to have tough conversations and we celebrate the wins. Great culture and I look forward to being around for a long time.

      Cons

      I do work from home. Luckily, I get to see almost everyone in virtual team meetings and some in person for team outings. This is a con because the people are pretty awesome and getting together more frequently would be fun. Working from home can always be a pro and con. Make sure you make the most of it.
