Pros
Good exposure of financial related knowledge. Great Place for fresh graduate to learn. 23 days of annual leave. Peers are fun to be with.
Cons
Joined Dealogic after graduated and it was a good start for a couple months, after settle down, I started to notice more and more problems with the company. Management seems to treat the people in the relationship team different than the other team. The resource of the company is all focus on the relationship side of the business in Hong Kong. All the focus and spotlights are on the relationship and the operation side of the company doesn't get any recognition. If you are in the buddy group of the management, you will get all the benefit (raise, bonus) and perks. A certain sales think that he is the main guy of the whole office and pretty much runs the office himself, he can do whatever he wants and treat people however he likes, yes, you signed new contracts for the company but remember, there are people behind you to support you for you to sell the product, without any support, the client will become Ex-client pretty soon. Legacy and unstable system, looks like there are problems all the time in the IT side of the company, people come and go all the time, turnover rate is pretty high. What I heard is related to the management of the IT dept, a couple people in the IT dept (especially infrastructure and desktop) control everything in the IT side of the company and their attitude is very difficult to work with. They don't have knowledge sharing with the team as every time we have problems, the team in HK will have to consult the team in UK or NY
