Pros
Friendly place lots of lovely colleagues who are willing to help and always a smile from the receptionist. Deb still has a family feel despite having been owned by private equity for 10+ years until recent SCJ takeover. Lovely restaurant facilities and costa coffee on site, free parking (although a nightmare when visitors on site but this is due to be addressed by additional parking being provided) Great trainee scheme for youngsters who are stepping onto the career ladder for the first time. Lovely place to work at Christmas lots of festive fun, Christmas meal for all and presents for employees' children.
Cons
Engagement is really low in a lot of areas, particularly operations which needs to be addressed lots of good people are moving on. Communication also needs to improve some areas are better than others but there isn't always the cross departmental information sharing that is needed for the place to function efficiently. Lack of talent mapping/development planning on the commercial side so people can't see where their career is going -operations have a small L&D team who try their hardest to keep a focus on it but are under resourced. Salary isn't the best compared to the local market, benefits differ depending on seniority (or seemingly what you can barter for at the point of offer in some cases)
