Pros
Amazing leadership, full autonomy, interesting sector, small cross functional team. All this offers invaluable exposure and experience and a fun office environment too! No job is 100% joy all the time but I can honestly say I have never worked anywhere where I had more days of being excited and motivated heading in. 4 years here and it could not have been more rewarding and fulfilling. I learnt more in this company than I could have anywhere else and cannot have imagined a better way to spend my time. Not only was the subject matter something you can get really passionate about but the range of exposure is really priceless. Started in sales and got offered the opportunity to step up. Going through growth with a business like this shows everything (the good and the hard) that you need to develop. Being able to access strategic conversations at every level of a company is such a rarity and was truly a time I am grateful for. Doing this alongside a group of passionate and skilled people was a privilege.
Cons
This is NOT a place to coast. I mean you can but the "Pros" only come with really engaging, questioning and learning how to influence constructively and effectively. Ambiguity but then again most organisations want people that can thrive in this so not really a con. Benefits of a big company but if you are reading this you are looking for the startup experience (see "Pros" list above)
