Pros
it was a decent payroll at start. benefits are close to decent. super-majority of people are actually really nice human beings. This also applies to management without a doubt. Communication with a lot of people from a lot of countries. Nice food.
Cons
payroll is way under decent now, after inflation in TR economy. Remote work is not a possibility. People do not have enough computer knowledge for the position they work and it is not a good look. workload is a big problem with a very small(two person) IT team. Possible to learn very few skills(and it is very very few if you're not interested in ERP) but there is no room in IT with different specializations. They will only change the title from a generated name to senior generated name. Network? Security? There are no positions. And it is mostly outsourced anyway. IT dept reports CFO. This is a debated topic but this is a con for a big company like this IMO. Senior management are actually really really nice people but they have zero relevance to IT. IT dept is just a black-box to them and you will be very undervalued. IT is the least important department of this company. Especially the infra team. It is not a good habitat for an IT department inside. In senior management meetings it is visible that every departments head see the IT department so low in their eyes that it is heartbreaking to say the least.
