Pay bands were higher than average. You get to work with some extremely talents people. Learned a lot while i was there.
Cons
Textbook definition of an "ol boys club". If you aren't in the clique thats friends with the CEO and/or CTO you're expendable trash. Technology is chosen on the whim of what the CTO or the in group decides is cool rather than what fits the task. 3 layoffs in 3 months. aka 3 layoffs no problem. Immediately after huge RiF posting positions that were exactly positions of people who were just laid off. including people who were scheduled to go on maternity leave just days after the layoff. (im pretty sure this is illegal) Laying off people while hiring on skillbridge interns full time at the same time is a bold move. Management employs a bunch of friends and family that magically are never impacted by widescale layoffs. Extreme nepotism. CEO regularly micro manages projects and people he has no experience or business being involved in. Going from having the best culture i've ever experienced to speed running the culture into the ground in just 1 quarter.
