Pros
Flexible hours for the type of job I was performing. Some of the long term nurses are amazing but they are highly disregarded, extremely overworked and underpaid for the job duties that they are performing.
Cons
This company is a family run business. I’ve seen good and bad with these situations and sadly, this is a bad one. Overworked and underpaid nurses and aides. Managers are rude and have no interpersonal skills. Too many fraternizing relationships at this facility. E.g.: Boyfriends, girlfriends, mothers, daughters, etc., are employed here & from what I witnessed, it causes an uneasy working environment for everyone. The front office staff are also rude, beyond a level that I’ve ever seen in the industry. The constant bullying behavior exhibited by the long term nursing staff is downright disgusting. The facility is old, dirty, and will turn your stomach. I witnessed a long term NAC pick up a urine soaked adult incontinence pad that was dripping, with bare hands. Very disturbing behavior coming from a licensed professional. Toxic and hostile working environment.
