Pros

Decent Salary Work Life Balance Work From Home Good People

Cons

CYA Management Style- Senior Managment due to constant layoffs, poor decisons, and fear tactics has instilled a CYA work ethic. Many people especially middle management are un accountable and point the finger "to someone else" when things dont go the way C-Level expect. People are in constant fear of lay offs and this doesnt promote a great working environment. Have lost a lot of good people due to Senior Mangement's inability to identify own inadequecies. Lack of Strategy- Deltek technology is outdated and behind the times. Product management road map is non existent and customers are starting to recognize that Detlek takes FOREVER to deliver a product to the market. And when it does, many customers are indifferent. Development team has shown signs of improvement at times, but cant seem to maintain, momentum and falls behind very easily Just a software vendor-- No thought leadership. Customers are looking for trusted advisor and someone who can help tem achieve goals and expectations, Deltek falls short. Instead of driving market, constantly trying to catch up. Reactive culture versus being proactive. Just acquired by Private Equity firm. Early diagnosis is uncertain.

Pros

Good culture and supportive coworkers One thing that stands out is that employees repeatedly talk about the people being collaborative and easy to work with. For CSM teams especially, there are comments about low internal drama and strong teamwork.

Cons

Morale dips after layoffs: Common issue in enterprise SaaS. Remaining employees sometimes inherit extra accounts or responsibilities after reductions. Internal communication can get corporate/vague. Employees sometimes mention leadership messaging during reorganizations feels polished but not fully transparent. Career growth uncertainty during restructures: When leadership changes or teams merge, promotions and advancement
