The amazing winemakers are truly the bright light of the organization, along with a handful of wonderful people that are trying their hardest to make this a better place.
Cons
Demeine Estates and their parent company Lawrence Wine Estates is largely an accumulation of dangerously under-qualified individuals who are clawing for social recognition but fall short. Their unmeasured decisions and wreckless actions are now starting to derail some of the most historic Napa Valley brands - which is heartbreaking to witness, let alone be apart of.
They hide behind the buzzwords “startup” and “disruptive” in hopes of blanketing the lack of thought, compassion and strategy put into their work. Gaslighting and back-stabbing are common practices between the many unorganized teams, making it a tense and hostile environment to work and grow professionally.
Don’t get me wrong, there is a handful of extremely talented professionals and winemakers amongst this organization, but unfortunately they get discredited, shot-down or censored by the wreckless leaders and directors.
Consider this review a public service announcement to search elsewhere if you are looking for a stable, inviting and healthy workplace. Demeine Estates (and affiliations) are the polar opposite of that.
