Pros
It is easy to work with managers and find a schedule that works best for you. There isn't a dress code, there are snacks on Fridays, and it's easy to find someone to help you if you're stuck on something. There is also the chance to move up to a different department after six months of working at the company. The pay is also great starting off.
Cons
I've never worked in a place with more toxicity among the staff. Everyone was considerably older than me, yet there was constant gossip to the point where a staff meeting had to be interrupted by the CEO to remind everyone not to gossip or spread rumors. A group of grown adults in a professional environment should not have to be reminded not to waste their time gossiping. The work was incredibly mundane, and it was very short-lived on the administrative side. The last few weeks I worked at the company, I was sitting on my phone the last several hours of the day with nothing to do because the workload ran out so quickly. Often times, if work wasn't finished by one department in time, I would either be rushing to get my part done or waiting for hours for something to do. If you miss a day of the week, you are required to come in over the weekend and make the time up if you don't make it up during the week. There isn't any sick time, so you take any time off out of vacation or have to make it up.
