Pros
They are nice to you on your face.
Cons
Most important: They just reduced their size so much, they went from having 2 floors to a single floor. They tried to bully some companies into taking a sublease and pay them for a year upfront. Oh, at the same time, the gave their executives big bonuses and fired a bunch of long term employees. 1. They spend six-figures to hire executives from brand names thinking that bringing in someone from a brand name is going to rub off the fortune to them. 2. They tell you 'you're our family' and then will ask you not to leave, only to turn around and fire you without giving you a notice. 3. They fired 2 employees who worked there for over 20+ years! One of them got congratulated in the morning for working there for all that time, and then around 4pm got fired. 4. They fired people who should have gotten their retirement just before their retirement time! 5. They will bring you in under one title and make you work for 3 different titles without the pay. 6. The CEOs are a joke: a rag-tag wannabes who will take the profit AND fire people and then go around explaining that 'due to company not making money'. Oh the company made money, they just don't want to pay you. 7. They fired 5 hard working people who actually gave their company a lot more positive advantages than their C-suite combined together! 8. They will hire people for their properties they are trying to off-load! You know what that means? They are about to lose a property but because the property is understaffed, they will hire you, bring you in to HR, give you the 'family' spill, and try to get you to leave your job and work for a sinking ship. ASK THEM IF THE PROPERTY THEY ARE HIRING YOU FOR IS OWNED 100% BY THE CO-CEOs OR A MANAGED PROPERTY! RUN LIKE HELL if they are not honest! If they say it's 100% CEO owned, ask that to be in writing. 9. They tried to talk me into taking more responsibilities in their Accounting Department. Oh, they won't pay an extra dime for it, though. 10. Work-life balance? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Good one!
