Pros

- Working from home and flexible work arrangements

Cons

They don't live their values.: 1.-Listen to learn: as long as you don't contradict the leadership 2.-Clock in for the customer: making things shiny so the back can be a mess 3.-Stronger together: you are just a number. your mental health can be affected with alienation if you dare to be different. you need to blend in to 'succeed' 4.- Own your shift: outdated technology and over complicated solutions. band-aid culture 5.- Lead with Integrity: their concept of integrity is from a different planet. bully the weak, fear the tough Leadership said glassdoor reviews are not valuable because they just reflect disgruntled people, but they still asked employees to add reviews to improve their score. The company will break your spirit and gaslight you if you dare to speak up. People and Culture team is more about marketing, creating surveys, and looking good in linkedin, but they won't support you when it really matters.

Pros

Mission-Driven Culture – It’s inspiring to work for a company that helps businesses and shift workers thrive. Strong Leadership – The executive team is strategic, forward-thinking, and supportive. They encourage innovation and open communication. Great People & Collaboration – The team is filled with smart, passionate, and kind people who truly care about making an impact. Growth & Career Opportunities – The company is scaling rapidly, creating new challenges and exciting opportunities for career development. Work-Life Balance & Flexibility – Leadership understands the importance of flexibility and supports a healthy work-life balance. While so many other companies are bringing back return to office mandates, Deputy is holding true to its remote-first philosophy!

Cons

Like any scaling company, there are evolving priorities, but leadership is focused on making the right investments. Overall, Deputy is a great place to work, learn and grow!

Pros

Nice people Good benefits Decent pay Fun work

Cons

The leadership team is rough. I was excited to work for a majority woman leadership team, but it is clear they have no idea what they are doing. Heavy tech debt and sketchy product. No plans to fix it. They fire people who bring up questions or concerns. I has happened repeatedly over the past few years. Leadership just goes on LinkedIn and brags about how well things are going or how well they are doing. Not a good luck with all of the layoffs, turnover and lack of salary increases. Look at the most recent reviews and you will notice a theme. So many people who have been promoted above their ability and are threatened by anyone somewhat competent. My boss was awful and a micromanager for all levels. There was no trust. Even for people with 10+ years of experience. Lots of backstabbing and bs. I just want to work and get things done. It’s all politics. The less you know, the more apt you are to get promoted. Lots of US turnover and layoffs. I worked with some great people, so this is a hard review to write.
