Pros
I’ve worked at several companies before joining Design Ergonomics, and if you’re looking for an escape from the corporate grind, this is definitely a place to consider. We have the unique opportunity to work closely with our CEO, Dr. David Ahearn, who genuinely cares about the well-being of his team. He’s invested in both our personal and professional success, which is rare to find. Like any workplace, there are highs and lows, but the overall culture is one of family and support. Many of my coworkers have been here for 20+ years, which says a lot about the environment.
Cons
Although I see it as a positive, some may view the constant change as a challenge. One of our core values is continuous improvement, which means we’re always refining processes and sometimes shifting directions. This change is all in service of improving the experience for both our team and our clients, but it can feel fast-paced for those who are less comfortable with change.
