Pros

The team is collaborative and supportive of each other. I feel I have the tools I need to succeed at this job, in addition to a great training and onboarding experience. The hybrid work model makes it flexible.

Cons

It can be difficult at times to get timely assistance as our team is split up between Austin, TX and London.

Pros

I worked at Deskpro for a little over a year as a sales executive within the commercial team. I came to the team with no prior experience in sales nor SAAS solutions, however the team was supportive during the onboarding process. Specially, Hannah Scott was a great resource during this time, as she went above and beyond to ensure I felt supported and prepared for gradually taking on more responsibility. Soon after joining Deskpro, London faced another wave of lockdowns and we were sent home from the office. Hannah was incredible with maintaining communication while remote, and continuing to invest in my growth while we were at a distance. Another member of the team Paul Davies, was a very knowledgeable and useful resource when it came to navigating remote work, VISA responsibilities, and HR processes. I’m much appreciative of his guidance while at Deskpro. I also learned a great deal from the development team while working alongside them in consultative type sales and felt they were an approachable group when it came time to pick their brain!

Cons

The team at Deskpro is a very hardworking group and their work ethic went a great distance. However, I would say occasionally it felt quite hectic when many team members would be away (was not often). When this happened, it was tough to keep everything organized and prioritized. I think it’s likely this isn’t an issue any longer, as I’ve seen the company has grown since I left!

Pros

None sadly - only my direct colleagues.

Cons

The company suffers from “small company syndrome” and does not seem to value its employees. Expectations are often unrealistic, and the culture can feel very much like a boiler room. Additionally, there are no formal processes in place, which makes it difficult to work efficiently or see clear career progression.
