Pros

I would say the pro about this company is if your interested in case management or learning the shelter system, this would provide you the experience.

Cons

You have pay 50/50 with insurance and it's not cheap. Bad management and a high staff turn over.

Pros

The people that work with as far as the entry level people in case managers they're pretty good.

Cons

Let's start with the interview it was an open house interview that was starting from 10:00 to 2:00 p.m.. unfortunately it was not organized correctly a one that lasting well into the evening I got my interview around 5:00 or 5:30 and I'm pretty sure the ones that followed behind me pretty much got it around 7:00. When I was first offered a job I was told to start right away not even a chance to get processed or even get my two weeks notice to my former job. I had to fight from the start about getting my stuff together before I even started this job these were all flags that I was trying to avoid and hoping that it would be better but it was just getting worse. Upon me being part of this organization. This organization uses emails and they live by emails. Emails are not the problem here. They have so many components today emails that it can confuse you just to get your job done you have about five different components just to communicate with people which is not necessary for a small hotel and a small agency. Keeping up with the emails with the biggest problem I had because you had so many different things that you had to look for for half of the stuff you needed to get your job performance completed. I already knew that I had so many flags on this agency it was just a matter of time of what would happen next. I tried to perform the job at the best of my ability and even ask for assistance from my administrator and supervisor. My supervisor gave me as much help as she possibly wanted to at least I felt like it I let her know how I was doing and what would be best way to serve me to make my job a little easier so I can do a better job to alleviate some of the pressure off of her. My administrator/supervisor said that she will assist me every way possible to make sure I will be able to transition well to perform my duties well. To find out my administrator slashes supervisor did not give me that information or assist me well enough to make me transition well to do my job well. I knew that I was going to my way out the door when I find out that half of the time that we need to communicate between me and my administration/supervisor she choose to communicate with the team which was supposed to be my staff that's under me which started knowing more about the job than I did and then when she felt overwhelmed then through the responsibilities to me. Flags again about this agency. Then again the final drawer they had an open house interview and after they interviewed was given I was told three to four hours after before I came back to work the next day do not come back I've been terminated which was told to me by HR and in the handbook they can get rid of me at any given time for no reason at all was giving all my termination paper. I was very crushed by this action was not aware of how good or bad I was doing at this job and when I was asked I was doing I displayed and relayed how you can assist me better and choose not to assist me in doing my job. I felt like they pulled a rug from beneath my feet and watch me go out the door treated me as if I was a criminal and if I was a problematic person on the job the way they let me go would not allow me to get my stuff plus HR had an attitude upon it all as if I deserved her attitude. To those who go for this job is not worth it stick to the job you have the money may be good but when the job can get rid of you any given time without any reason trust me this job definitely will operate on that level they will pull the rug when they feel without any explanation and feel like they don't have no explanation for it is in the handbook they want you to excel as fast as they want you to and give you little time to grow into this company. I am a self-starter but this was very stupid the way they operated this is all the flags that make me say that if I had to go back to this job and they was offering me his job again I will never ever recommend this job to nobody unless they had no job in the first place then they can go for it. I don't know letting me go now or letting me go 90 days later would have been good either way cuz 90 days before would have been 2 days before Christmas and which would have been just as much as a tragedy. So instead they got rid of Me 3 weeks before Thanksgiving. If it wasn't the fact that I had a backup job in being per diem I'd be without a job to pay somewhat of my bills.
