Working for a GE Company had very good challenges.

Needed to grow and was offered a new position with great challenges.

Plenty of available hours. Low bar to entry. Work can be very rewarding. PTO is the most generous I've seen at any company.

The job can be very high stress. While the pay is good for the care field, its woefully inadequate for the job duties required. Very little incentive to go above and beyond as there are essentially no repercussions for substandard performance. It is difficult to work cohesively as a team. Lots of gossip, undermining, and behind the back talk. Raises are currently frozen. Very little room for advancement, supervisory positions are low paid and over worked. Company tends to act before thinking. Training is often insufficient and geared almost exclusively to one segment of the field. Scheduling is often inconsistent, lots of holes in the schedule that need filling. High turnover.
