Pros
- The teams were collaborative, and enjoyable to work with. - The projects provided opportunities to demonstrate some of my skills and problem-solving abilities.
Cons
- Excessive Workload: The company expects employees to consistently work 10 to 12-hour days, creating an unsustainable work-life balance and leading to burnout. - Lack of Positive Feedback: Despite delivering excellent results with my teams, the company failed to provide recognition or encouragement. Constructive criticism is necessary but constant negativity and lack of support severely impact morale. - Questionable Leadership Assessment: Even though my teams strongly supported my leadership and expressed a desire to continue working with me, the company was overly critical without providing actionable suggestions for improvement. - Unethical Termination Practices: At the end of the trial period, I was let go without notice, which gave the impression that the company aimed to exploit my efforts without committing to long-term employment. - Toxic Culture: Some colleagues in management and on the business side engaged in backstabbing, which created a hostile and untrustworthy work environment. This undermines collaboration and makes it difficult to build professional relationships.
