Pros
The compressed work week is great. The Operators are super kind
Cons
5 things. Low Moral. High Turnover. Low Pay. Disorganized. Micromanagement. Bonus: Terrible Parking. They use a point system for attendance. you cannot be 5 minutes late or leave early or you will get a point. you also can't take too long of breaks or you'll get a point. On top of that the parking lot is way too small! since people can't leave early or come late without being punished you can't find parking and getting here on time adds SO much anxiety to your day. Management isn't understanding about taking time off especially calling in. They think your sickness's and family emergencies should be planned and nothing less. This company has at least 1500 people onsite during the week and they still operate like a start up. As a technician the accountability and ownership is non-existent. they promote from the bottom up with the rare occasion they will hire externally and they don't teach core technical principals to the people they promote so if you don't know it, you're SOL. Management doesn't see people as humans. they see you as a number. in their management meetings they call us "bodies". they will yell at you for talking too much and be angry if you take too long of breaks. Don't work here.
