Pros

- The business seems to be doing good (Though that doesn't mean a stable job lol!) - Founder is decent - Some teams are said to be decent in engineering, especially T.P.'s team. (Though it could be an "andho mein kana raja kinda thing")

Cons

- Extremely toxic culture - Hire to fire culture - No work life balance, the timings are flexible but they'll give impossible deadlines that you'll end up working 12+hrs (including on the weekends) - Extremely mediocre senior engineers, who have developed leverage since they know a lot of code base and are extremely arrogant. Will treat you like like they have done you a favour by hiring you. - Most of the managers are extremely toxic, especially M.K. Doesn't even know what's going on in the team, still tries to question everything. Zero leadership and interpersonal skills. Don't even know how this guy gets past HR and behavioural rounds. - CTO (KBS) has a reputation of being very toxic which trickles down into all the teams (Though tbh I didnt deal with him much directly so can't say) - Extremely incompetent and inconsiderate product teams, will change requirements a 1000 times and will expect you to deliver before time. Pin the blame on you in the end :) - Seriously, they interview like they are google or something and then they give you a lousy internal dashboard to work on which is barely used by 50 people. My college project was more interesting and had more scale. - If you have other offers PLEASE don't even consider joining!!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. We get that our high-performance, fast-paced setup isn’t for everyone—and cultural differences can make it feel tougher. That said, it’s always good to hear different perspectives as we grow.

Pros

As a Client Financial Partner at Dezerv, you get to manage high-ticket portfolios for a sophisticated clientele of HNWIs and corporate leaders, significantly elevating your professional network and wealth acumen. Instead of pushing generic retail products, you are armed with a competitive edge through institutional-grade portfolios, exclusive AIFs, and proprietary wealth tech that automates portfolio tracking and rebalancing. This high-ownership role allows you to bypass the bureaucratic red tape of traditional banks, enabling you to scale your AUM rapidly and directly unlock highly lucrative compensation structures and fast-tracked leadership opportunities.

Cons

As a Client Financial Partner at Dezerv, the primary challenge is the high-pressure, target-driven environment where you face intense competition from established private banks to acquire elusive HNWI clients. Because it is a fast-growing wealth tech startup, you have to navigate constant organizational changes, shifting incentive structures, and fluid processes that can feel chaotic compared to traditional banking. Additionally, your success is heavily dependent on market performance and the return on Dezerv's proprietary portfolios, meaning you bear the direct brunt of client grievances during market downturns, often resulting in demanding hours and a blurred work-life balance.
