Pros
1) Cutting edge technology, you will get some of the best training working here on the properties of light and fiber optics 2) Colleagues are very friendly and helpful. We really work as a team 3) Most directors are very helpful and supportive to mentor you and show you the ropes. 4) Being a mid size company, you can easily move between different roles, project or even departments. 5) Most people don't work weekends here but there are times that we are understaffed and under resourced.
Cons
1) No formal training program, if you want to learn you have to be proactive to do your own research and be brave to ask questions. ( That might not be a con) 2) The culture here lean towards traditional Asian company culture where obedience is expected. Top level management tends to micromanage and bring distrustful of employees in terms of work hours or ability to independently work. The culture is not forgiving for those that are still learning and making mistakes. (Again this is the common culture of many Asian companies)
