Interesting work. Lots in the defense sector - some of the most interesting platforms out there - ground vehicles, jets, rotary wing training systems. Growing and pursuing new work. Senior / executive management very accessible and they even know my name!

We are fairly small so some limitations on what we can do, but the company stresses innovation. Sometimes with downturns in the market they undergo RIF’s but no more than other companies in the market.

It is a stable job for now.

Expected unpaid overtime. Unrealistic deadlines. Promotions are based on unpaid overtime done, not how are proficient you are. The owner tends to get involved and upper management tends to jump the chain of command.
