Pros
Having the ability to work remotely.
Cons
Diagrid presents itself as a promising startup, but the reality is far from it. The high turnover rates, unrealistic expectations, and lack of transparency make it a challenging environment. Prospective employees should be aware of these issues before considering a position at Diagrid. Feedback is often subjective, leading to uncertainty about how to improve and progress within the company. Product feedback is predominantly driven by project managers without sufficient input from developers. There is a significant lack of communication and transparency between various teams including executive leadership, sales and marketing, engineering, and developer relations. This has lead to misaligned objectives and confusion. Most concerning, the company consistently hires for high-churn positions, indicating underlying issues beyond mine with job satisfaction and employee retention. The virtual team happy hours and working retreat trips are often used as a superficial solution to deeper organizational problems.
