I worked at Diamond for six years and had an excellent experience. I would highlight the following qualities that contributed to my positive experience: Strong Management - The management team is comprised of former tower company executives, investment bankers and operational managers all of which are highly dedicated to growing the company and ensuring its employees are constantly learning and enjoying their roles. In addition, throughout my time, I witnessed how nimble the team could be in responding to industry changes and new opportunities. Because of their diversity in experience (financial, legal, technological) they are well positioned to make smart decisions (investment, hiring, etc.) that will keep the company on a forward track and offer its employees, if desired, opportunities to work on numerous different projects within the wireless infrastructure space. In addition, the management team will always take time to listen to their employees suggestions and will accommodate personal requests (e.g. family emergencies). Learning from the Best - The flat management structure grants more junior staff significant access to senior managers, which allows one to learn quickly from industry leaders. Positive, Collaborative Working Environment - Diamond's various groups work very closely together so employees get exposure to all areas of the company (finance, legal, sales, operations, etc.). The staff are very friendly and willing to give patience as one gets up to speed. Compensation Growth Potential - As the company expands, new responsibilities and positions become available, which can result in regular, generous compensation increases. In addition, the company offers competitive and flexible benefits packages.

The commute from New York City is a little long but not unmanageable.

Diamond Communications is a fast-growing company that is always on the lookout for new investment opportunities and talented people to join their team. I joined the Diamond team after graduating college and found the analyst position to be a great learning experience due to the heavy interaction with senior management and exposure to many different areas of the business (sales, marketing, management, finance, presentations, investment opportunities, corporate development, etc.). The company is comprised of extremely intelligent and experienced individuals coming from many different lines of work (banking, financial services, engineering, wireless, and so on. Senior management was very helpful in terms of allowing you to take on new things that interest you, and they do a great job recognizing hard work as well as offering advice/feedback. The company as a whole truly cares about seeing growth and career success from all of their employees.

As a younger former employee, the location is not ideal, but is in close proximity and a reasonable commute from New York City, Hoboken, and Jersey City As the company is relatively small and everyone is extremely busy, it is sometimes difficult to coordinate with others on projects that require multiple different departments. Also, as expected with a smaller company, some problems arise with data management and integrity.
