Pros
You will have the opportunity to meet a lot of new people since the turnover rate is so bad. No really....onboarding 30+ new hires a month is the norm at Diatherix.
Cons
There is no scientific oversight for the lab. It's a miracle they are still able to put out patient results. The person running the show has no business working for a molecular diagnostics company. She probably couldn't even spell PCR. Administration is trying to run the lab like a production assembly line and has no respect for laboratory medicine or the patients they are serving. There is no need for quality as long as the results get pushed out. The leads in the lab are brand new techs who have no experience to be able to make the clinical decisions that are part of their role. Diatherix is just isn't what it used to be...and I DO NOT trust the results that are being reported out of the clinical lab.
