Back to back calls all day. Very strict with adherence and QA grading. I passed everything on a call, but because I forgot to mention the member's name, they failed me. Expected to meet sales/referrals goal even though that wasn't stated in the job description. They should hire a sales/marketing team specifically for that. We shouldn't have to be CSR's and sales agents. Pay could be better compared to the workload. Don't think it's fair to work a night shift on Friday if you also work morning shift on Saturday's. Direct deposit has to go into a DCU account, basically forcing you to become a member. Not my primary institution so it made it difficult for me to access my funds immediately on payday. You have to have good credit and be in good standing financially to be an employee. I don't see why our personal finances should affect our eligibility to be an employee. That is not the company's business. In training, they said we weren't timed on how long we take on the calls, but after training I realized we are actually graded on our "Average Handle Time" and if it's too low, that's a problem and you're subject to termination. If your hold time is high, that's a problem. If it's low, that's also a problem. It has to be just right.

Honestly there are no pros, you are gaslit into thinking there is.

Where do I begin? Long hours, terrible work-life balance, outdated systems and procedures, complicated processes and procedures and it makes everything a difficult process for their members, high turnarounds, conflicting information from staff, no one seems to be on the same page, delays, super busy all the time, not enough time or staff to get to everyone, Saturdays are chaotic, no accountability, drama and gossip, fake people, and my favorite, one slight inconvenience and immediately get reported and in trouble with HR. Very manipulative and will gaslight you into thinking you are the wrong one for calling out issues, problems and flaws occurring in branch. And by far the number one thing demonstrated by few staff members, not all, disrespect. Disrespect for management from a few employees. All of this is not worth the paycheck, you will go insane. You’re just supposed to shut up and do your job.
