Disorganization. Over the last few years, we have acquired several companies in the GRC space. Compounding that with a massive restructuring in 2021 and a ton of new hires, Diligent can be a very confusing company to work for. What I mean by that is that processes shift on a weekly, if not daily basis, and changes are often not well communicated to dependent teams. Some of our products are very complex and difficult to service, and in some cases, the people who knew best how to service those products have either been offboarded or quit over the last ~2 years.
One of the big reasons of the reorg was to centralize our commercial org so that we had one central Sales and CS team, but then in 2021 we acquired several other companies which brought us back to square one in terms of operational centralization.
Therefore, be prepared to be bounced around internally to get things done and answer questions that should be easy. Just try not to pull your hair out, and if you're working in a client facing role, be prepared to deal with some frustrated clients.
