Our company makes every possible effort to accommodate unexpected emergencies. On numerous occasions we have flown people across the country to get them home for family emergencies at 100% company expense. DIS prides itself on caring about the employees of the company, regardless of their position. We conduct annual employee feedback surveys and take action based on those responses. While we cannot avoid the travel aspect of the job, we make every attempt to ensure that employees are able to get home within a reasonable time frame and almost never keep our employees out of town for more than two weeks at a time. Typical travel is one week or less and if someone stays out of town over a weekend, they receive a bonus. We also have increased our food allowance per day and now provide separate hotel rooms for each employee. The traveling aspect of the job is fully explained at the time of hire and agreed upon by the employee before they start working with us. Although disappointing to hear, we take this feedback seriously and will continue to make improvements with the best interest of our employees in mind.
