Pros
Flexible work hours, good benefits (health insurance, 401k, etc.) and abundant snacks are the pros I can say still exist. Many of the pros I would have put here just a few months ago have taken a big step back and are now cons for me.
Cons
-As much as HR and other senior leadership members are trying to spin things, there is a lot of truth here. I actually wouldn't be surprised if HR is in the dark on the matters referenced here about inappropriate relationships because I can't imagine they'd stand for it. It is an absolute fact and it has been persistent for a long time, even before the current HR leader arrived. It is ridiculously unprofessional and demoralizing to be part of an organization "led" by people with such a lack of character and judgement. -There are a lot of great people at Distil. Unfortunately, that is quickly diminishing. -The culture was a big selling point for me coming here. We've had some great times. The culture has been rapidly declining and the recent layoffs certainly won't help. Obviously, this can happen at companies -- it's not the first time I've seen it -- but I really don't see who is really going to turn this around. Those managers/leaders who understand how to grow and motivate people are really lacking here.
