Cons

Management & Leadership: The company’s management structure appears to have been filled out with individuals who were simply placed in roles to fill gaps, rather than due to their skills or expertise. This is highly apparent in daily operations and overall decision-making. Many directors and managers lack the necessary experience or competence for their roles, leading to a leadership vacuum that has negatively impacted the workforce. Employee Turnover: The company has faced a significant turnover, with 28 employees leaving within an 18-month period. This high attrition rate points to an underlying issue with management, as employees often cite the same reasons for leaving: poor leadership, lack of support, and a general sense of neglect. The turnover is a clear indicator of dissatisfaction with the work environment, which is in large part due to ineffective leadership. Training & Development: One of the key shortcomings within the organisation is the absence of proper training and development programs for management. This lack of support has not only impacted employee performance but also led to declining well-being among staff. Employees are often left without the guidance or resources they need to succeed in their roles, resulting in frustration and burnout. HR & Support: The HR department appears to be disconnected from the actual needs of the employees. When approached with questions, HR typically offers little in the way of practical solutions. This lack of proactive support from HR further adds to the frustration felt by employees. Overall Culture & Environment: The company’s culture seems to be one of complacency, with leadership showing little interest in feedback or improvement. The organization has lost many overqualified and highly educated individuals, leaving behind a team that is often seen as unqualified and underprepared to tackle the challenges the company faces. This has led to a toxic work environment where employees feel unsupported and undervalued. Conclusion: If you have other opportunities available, I strongly advise to explore them. The leadership and organizational structure at this company do not seem poised for long-term success, and the lack of competent management makes it difficult for employees to thrive. It is highly recommended to approach with caution if considering a position here.
