This was the most unhealthy environment I have worked in, even though the counselors doing the day-to-day work are some of the best individuals you will meet. C-Level's alleged desire to improve the culture are empty words.
Those in C-level positions operate out of ego and inconsistency depending on what best supports their position, not the best interests of the organization. This is a 501c3 non-profit, and by reviewing their annual reports (publicly published), the money spent on CEO salary and bonuses in comparison to financial losses should be cause for concern, along with excessive employee turnover.
Job expectations change almost daily and on the whims of disengaged, uninformed, and ignorant leaders. Do not take a job working in any of the administrative positions.
