Pros

Amazing management, positive and supportive culture, higher-ups were accessible, opportunities for career growth, and "done by 1" Fridays

Cons

Long hours (7-5pm, M-Th), short lunches, traffic was killer if you live far, low base-pay w/ high pressure for sales, stressful, sometimes atmosphere felt too unprofessional, pressure to be "close-knit" with coworkers was suffocating

Thanks for your contribution! We will continually strive to be accessible and available to everyone and build an environment which provides for career and professional growth. I am a bit disappointed that you expressed so many areas for improvement since you and I discussed in our exit interview and many of these concerns were not brought up. Not that this would change the situation but this was something we have been working on very diligently over the last 6 months and I want to clarify some of these items since potential new applicants need to have full information. The hours are something that early team members were involved in its selection especially since we get done at 1pm on Friday. Additionally, once someone reaches the position of Senior Business Development Representative (between 5-7 months), you have the option to work 7a-4pm (Mon-Thu) with 1hr lunches while getting done at 1pm on Friday as long as you are within your sales targets. Both the hours and base pay (which also increases progressively; 37% higher from trainee to Senior Business Development) are disclosed ahead of time and we specifically ask that you review these to see if its a fit for you. Sales can be fun and rewarding and can be stressful. It really depends on an individual and whether they want to pursue it as a career. We run an anonymous survey every month so if there was anything that was unprofessional it should be brought up so that we can react to it. We have an excellent and very involved sales management team and they are on top of things so it is everyone's responsibility to communicate. Sales is also a team effort and with that comes team building events. We don't mandate people to attend team events and we do encourage that you get to know your co-workers. We will not change that aspect of our culture and in fact will only improve ways that the teams get to know more. Once again, I do want to thank you for all your contributions and wish you continued success!
