Thank you for writing this. I appreciate you also calling out what is working: we are fully remote, the team shows up for each other, and compensation and benefits are competitive.
On the point about Glassdoor “manipulation,” I want to be explicit about what I personally asked employees to do. This is the EXACT message I sent:
"Hey - As you know, we are currently looking to grow the R&D team, and I know that prospective hires trust the voice of current employees far more than they trust management. Would you be open to leaving a review on Glassdoor? Not looking for sugar-coating, just an honest take on what it's like to work at DoiT."
That request was not for 5-star reviews, and it should never feel like pressure from anyone. If any manager asked for a specific rating or tried to “coordinate” reviews, that is not acceptable - please share an example with (you can use go/saysomething if you'd like to remain anonymous)
