Pros
DoiT gives people real agency; there’s very little micromanagement, and you’re expected to own your domain and make decisions, not wait for approval on every step. That trust goes both ways and makes the work more satisfying. The people are smart, practical, and genuinely care about customers. Leadership is also unusually transparent about business metrics and the overall health of the company, which is refreshing for a company at this stage. Remote-first actually works here because expectations are clear and people are treated like adults.
Cons
Priorities can shift quickly and the pace can feel intense at times. Processes are still evolving, which can create ambiguity if you prefer highly structured environments. You need to be comfortable with change and with building while flying.
