Pros
People are super cool. Big culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing. Everyone is kind and willing to assist when needed. The remote aspect offers lots of flexibility.
Cons
Management is a bit out of touch with the rest of the company. Remote aspect can get tricky after a while even though it comes with the benefit of added flexibility and zero micro-management. Unfortunately, there is no room for growth in many departments. Even though this is what they promise you when you join. There is no real ability to make any upward or lateral movements. Leadership expects employees in a 500+ company to be as flexible as they would be working in a 30-person startup with rapid changes that are often confusing and feel out of touch with the market. At the end of the day it all depends on a person's priorities and whether they are willing to trade the ability to grow at the workplace for flexibility, a decent salary + an overall positive work environment.
