Don't recommend - Finance Dollywood Employee Review

Dollywood bends over backwards to give employees benefits! My summer contract was not long enough to qualify for health insurance but they do offer it! Management was always lovely and I thoroughly enjoyed my time there.

It's a bit slow and red-tape-y to get interpersonal disputes handled.

It’s fun. The people (hosts) make the job fun. It’s great for kids starting out fresh out of high school and those who are retired and have nothing to do.

Not a place for people with families. Pay is not where it should be. They are wayyyyyy behind on the pay scale. They say in orientation that “the people are dw’s best investment” but where was the investment? It was in new restaurants and new rides. I understand that it is an amusement park and that restaurants and rides are the bread and butter, but the people there deserve what they are owed. They say well look at the perks, the perks that don’t pay the bills? Yes you do get perks but you work so much that don’t get to use them. Underpaid. Under valued. Over worked. I’m not saying DW is the worst, but be cautious.
