Pros

The company's values do more than look good on paper: from team meetings, to lunchtime conversations, to project ideation, statements like "put people first" and "pursue possibility" and "create collaboratively" are deeply woven in the company's culture. You'll see Domain7ers who've been with the company for 6, 8, 10+ years: Rather than stagnation, I think this speaks to the growth opportunities within the company. Current strategists were former PMs, design leads joined as junior developers. There's room to not only move up the ladder, but across to others, too.

Cons

The company has grown over the past few years, and hasn't escaped unscathed. Internal growing pains hit things like toolsets and communication channels: what worked for a smaller team suddenly wasn't working with more people, new offices, additional complexity. The team is navigating this space well, but it hasn't been without challenge. A rather flat and democratic org structure means if there's a company decision being made, you're likely to be consulted, regardless of role / seniority. This is great for inclusion and diversity of thought in the decision-making process, but can lead to change happening at a less-than-rapid pace.

Pros

The team is incredible - warm and supportive.

Cons

Pay wasn't always the most competitive, but the lifestyle tradeoffs and quality of the people made it worth it.
