Pros
DEI was a great place to work. As a small company, DEI allowed for great interpersonal relationship building. You quickly learn you are working with very intelligent people. DEI provides great benefits, including paid overtime. While the work-life balance can at times skew more towards work due to the limited number of people, DEI is normally flexible and willing to work through requests
Cons
As a small company, DEI has a more horizontal style of management, with everyone from the top down working together on projects. While this eases things such as signatures and conversations with management, it also creates less of a defined ladder to climb in terms of career growth. Also, it can create situations where too much planing and meeting occurs instead of getting the work done.
