      Pros

      Good Pay! Double time OT. 4wks vacation to start Good hardworking, dedicated crew.

      Cons

      Older co-workers who think they know everything in the plant and not open to new/different ways things can be done. “this is how we do it here for decades…” Older equipments that fails constantly and management still wants max output everything. Pedal to the metal all the time

      Pros

      Close knit excellent maintenance teams that seem to do the impossible with the amount of understaffing over the years. Couldn't ask for a better place or people to work with. I have loved my time at this mill. Domtar has no idea at the quality of the institution\people that they are casting off into the abyss.

      Cons

      The corporation as a whole I am not a fan of. It seems they acquired Resolute FP to strategically dismantle it. They have closed several of the RFP mills and Coosa Pines an absolute institution that has been the backbone of the community for over 75 years is the next on the chopping block in May 2026.
