Pros
Company had gone through some struggles in not-too-distant past, but business has been good coming out of the pandemic. This has coincided with several organization changes and changes in leadership which are very promising. Currently transitioning towards more quality culture with world-class processes. Small town culture/attitude realizes that success of this factory is critical to the entire community. Much more of a family atmosphere than in larger cities. Large number of employees have been here 20+ years.
Cons
Lots of legacy systems and dependence on tribal knowledge in need of overhauling. Previous organizational structure created many "silos," which the new organization structure hasn't broken down entirely. Fairly common for old-timers to lament the "old days" when location was family owned instead of looking forward to opportunities for improvement/growth.
