Pros
Working from home. Employees are nice but this matters little as its overshadowed by horrible management.
Cons
Boss will make the most basic of human decency sound like something they defeated seven tigers bare handed for. Then ask you if you realllly need that extra minute off? After all, fighting seven tigers is a hard task and they are such a good boss, of course they would do it for you. But, do you reallllly want to make them fight seven tigers? This is the type of subtle guilt tripping to expect here. No respect for personal privacy or basic employee consideration. Welcome to micromanage hell, a lovely paradise for the indecisive as Boss will try to micromanage everything including time spent outside work or when you take sick days. With the extensive daily meeting schedule, you will feel beautifully immersed in the workplace stress 24/7 even while remote! Enjoy being constantly contacted and pressured to complete your work, which is of the utmost importance. But of course, no pressure! Deadlines are always looming due to "poor planning" but it's happened too many times to be accidental. There has been open admissions that the hectic meeting schedule is meant to push people to work faster. But it begs the question of when they are supposed to do their work if they have a meeting every hour? There is no work life balance as its not valued here. It is extremely sad and speaks loads about the culture of a company when you see fellow hardworking employees apologising profusely for taking even one day off when they were very sick. Metaphorically, if you break a leg, they will call the hospital and ask if the ambulance can drive you to work. Do not worry as, Boss always has your back. Always. Don't expect to get any breaks as Boss will shove work on you the moment you finish your current work, leaving you no uncertainty about your next objective. Unless they change their mind, and make you redo your work, ofcourse. If you enjoy working like a horse but being expendable, this is the company for you! The company is very money conscientious. When they are lacking funds, do not fear, for they will budget cut you! Saving you the hassle of quiting and also getting you some nice government mandated severance pay regardless of if you are a new hire or someone who's been there since the beginning.
