Pros

- Talented & hardworking colleagues - Exciting industry with a lot of innovative tech - Free snacks and drinks

Cons

Unlimited PTO but you’ll hardly be able to use it, and if you are fortunate enough to it’ll never be at a peace of mind working at this org. Salary is competitive but you’ll do the work of 1.5 people so really you’re being overworked and underpaid, unless you're perhaps upper management. Workloads and expectations became so blatantly unrealistic that you’ll begin to reflect and ask yourself is this even worth the stress? I know I’m not the only one you can go into the office any day of the week and see the dreary worn out look on your colleagues faces. Any feel good team event or activity was very transparent, it was to prepare you for a period of harsh undertakings that were soon to follow. And they would let you know that it was coming. This is probably why the age of employees are skewed much younger, as they’re better at taking orders no matter how unreasonable. Such a well respected brand and leader in the space yet they treat their employees like cannon fodder. I’ve spoke to colleagues with 10+ years experience at DK and they’ll talk about the good ol days working there. But from my experience those days are long gone. It’s robotically corporate, work life balance is trash and there is no real sense of camaraderie, just that cold feeling of being a cog in the wheel every day working there. Priorities will flip overnight, your tools & processes will change on a dime with little communication or training, it’s just one migraine after the other. Overall I'm very disappointed with the org and its leadership I’m not sure if the whole sports betting industry operates like this but if it does then it’s an industry ill avoid entirely in the future.

Pros

The pros about this place is that if you want a quiet area to work when you do work there out of 3 days out of the week that they have you work there. At least that's what it was when I worked there I don't know if they've changed it. Then you work 2 days at home. It's very quiet. Most the time there is nobody there. They will train you and help you but you will eventually have to be able to do it on your own.

Cons

If you switch over to departments don't depend on the company keeping you. If you mess up. The company was literally going through a buyout with the lottery company when I was working there and everything was crashing. So I got let go because there were a lot of errors and the system that they upgraded to was worse than the one that we worked on. So basically if anything happens with the systems just make sure that you know what you're doing and that you catch up on everything.
