Pros

Good people, on the whole. Great interest in DEI. Free beer (if you like beer).

Cons

The interest in DEI doesn't percolate to the workforce; it stays within the DEI team, where it doesn't do much good. Management is pretty ineffective. My line manager didn't understand my role, didn't give me probationary objectives and had little patience with people doing things differently to her (same result different method didn't cut it!) Onboarding process is a bit of a shambles. Reluctance to introduce new staff to the brand leads and teams they will be working very closely with. But beware if you come from an agency background. This place is extremely corporate. In meetings with the SLT via Zoom, you're expected to have an American amount of enthusiasm, cheering and whooping at every announcement. And woe betide you if you use an idiom that could be misconstrued or laugh at something someone else finds inappropriate as you will be investigated and this could result in a black mark on your career record meaning no promotion, no pay rise or no lateral movement for about 3 years, if ever. Quick to put people on PIPs, and from what I could see, little help for those on PIPs to resolve them. Pretty ruthless, all in all. Pay is well below market average. If you attain your bonus KPIs, then this become more reasonable, but for the amount of work you're expected to do, the pay is crap!

Pros

World-class briefs, phenomenal people, great in-office culture, feels like a family. They embrace people who are proactive. Hungry for good ideas.

Cons

Mandatory use of PowerPoint slows people down vs. Google products. Mixed direction from brand teams on projects.
